Mr Aridi , Chairman of GAA Marta Consulting and Paramount Hotels & Resorts, a tourism and hospitality development consultancy that advises governments, destinations and resorts around the world. Clients include the city of Dubai and tourism ministries in Brazil, Morocco, Lebanon, China, Spain, Saudi Arabic and the Sultanate of Oman among others. Notably, this consultancy facilitated a US$1.5 billion Paramount Theme Park and Resort for the city of Murcia in Spain.

Chief Financial OfficerMr. Omar Sawaya is the Chief Financial Officer of Alpha Destination Management and a key member of the company’s executive leadership team.In his role he oversees the group’s global financial operations while leading the organization’s over all business strategy whereby the company continues to maintain its top ranking in the industry achieving record profits. During the course of his tenure he also acted as the Secretary to the Board of Directors of the company and has been in-charge of all legal matters related to finance and corporate affairs. Additional areas of responsibility include overseeing financial affairs of the company’s affiliate – Swiss-Belhotel International – as well as independent branch – Alpha Holidays Tours & Travels.
Mr. Sawaya joined the company in 2004 and has since held several executive leadership roles before rising to the position of CFO in 2010. Throughout his career, Mr. Sawaya has led the dynamic growth of Alpha Destination Management.
Mr. Sawaya holds a Bachelors’ Degree of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Business Administration. He also has a minor in Economics Degree.

Managing DirectorMr. Adnan Aridi has played an instrumental role in the success of Alpha Destination Management and has been the key driving force behind its strategic vision and expansion. With a proven track-record of over two decades in the travel and tourism industry and outstanding experience he opened new frontiers for the company’s growth.Mr. Adnan Aridi joined Alpha Destination Management as Operations Director in 1997 before rising to the position of Managing Director in 2010.
He has been responsible for the company’s global strategy, corporate operations and growth aimed at boosting its productivity and profitability. By identifying new local and international opportunities and forming strategic business and industrial partnerships, Mr. Aridi has played a pivotal role in positioning Alpha as a premier DMC in the GCC. Focusing on the CIS market, he has made a tremendous contribution in the development of both the inbound and outbound leisure business.
In his capacity, Mr. Aridi works closely with the region’s leading tourism bodies and government authorities such as Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Dubai Naturalization and Residence Department (DNRD) – also referred to as the Dubai Immigration Department; Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Authority, Fujairah Tourism & Antiquities Authority, Sharjah Tourism, Ajman Tourism, Al Ain Tourism; as well as leading regional and overseas partners including hotels, airlines, cruise liners and corporate organisations. General ManagerMr. Samir Hamadeh is the General Manager of Alpha Destination Management. He joined the company in 2000 as a regional head of sales for the Middle East. Working his way up, he moved into international sales and succeeded in positioning Alpha as a market leader from Europe as well as developed new source markets into the destination.With his strategic approach and exceptional expertise in tourism and destination management, Mr. Hamadeh launched major initiatives that contributed to the success and expansion of Alpha.
In addition to his responsibilities at Alpha, Mr. Hamadeh has been a leading voice in the region’s tourism industry being actively involved in important governmental committees and focus groups. Working closely with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and the Dubai Convention Bureau, he has participated in the development of numerous tourism activities and initiatives including the cruise business, leisure and entertainment programs, hospitality sector and other strategic investment projects.
Mr. Hamadeh has also played an instrumental role in leading the company’s transition into the digital era with the adoption and integration of the latest technology and innovations.
Over the years, Mr. Hamadeh has been globally recognized for his endeavors and achievements with many prestigious awards and accolades. He holds a Bachelors’ degree in Public Administration and Political Studies from the American University of Beirut.
